Reach - Gloria Estefan

A very nice song from the 1996 Olympic Games, Atlanta.

Some dreams live on in time forever
Those dreams you want with all your heart
And I'll do whatever it takes
Follow through with the promise I make
Put it all on the line
What I hoped for at last would be mine

If I could reach, higher
Just for one moment touch the sky
From that one moment in my life
I'm gonna be stronger
Know that I've tried my very best
And put my spirit to the test
If I could reach

Some days are meant to be remembered
Those days we rise above the stars
So I'll go the distance this time
See it more the higher I climb
That the more I believe
All the more that this dream will be mine

If I could reach, higher
J
ust for one moment touch the sky
From that one moment in my life
I'm gonna be stronger
Know that I've tried my very best
Put my spirit to the test
If I could reach

If I could reach, higher
Just for one moment touch the sky
From that one moment in my life
I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be so much stronger, yes I am
I put my spirit to the test
If I could reach
If I could if I could if I could reach
I'd reach I'd reach I'd reach so much higher

Destroyer

In case you don't know,
I got a pet parrot.
We didn't buy it but we found it.
Cos it was being chased by a group of crows at the carpark of my block.
So my mother when down to save it.
It has since been about 5 to 6 years.
And it's a very talkative and noisy parrot.
And in recent years, it has taken over 2 of the kitchen drawers.

I call it the parrot executive house.
And it's totally designed by the parrot itself.
Let's see...

My parrot is the owner cum contractor on the second floor of its house.

It's caught by my camera in the mist of its construction work.

This is the "ground floor" of the executive house.
All the wood fragments there are shredded by the parrot.

This is the "staircase" to the ground floor.
My parrot did this all by itself.

Don't worry, when it comes to Chinese New Year, my father will build another drawer to replace it. After that, the demolition begins for another executive house.
hahaha.
i like my parrot.

LAzy me...

"a broken heart that can only be patched by him..."
This 'signature' is always there in creating a post page cos of that miserable time I went thru.
It was a meant to tell him how much I want him back.
But it never appeared in any of my post cos I dun wish to bring back all the unhappiness I went thru when I read my own posts.
It has been one year already...
Though at times I really miss him and hope him to talk to me.
But how... I have this feeling of giving up this friendship with him.
He no longer treat me like a friend.
Not even a sister which he told me he looked upon me when we were together.

Forget about this bastard...
Let's talk about me.
It's been 5 days since i finished exams.
I'm lazying around, too lazy to update my blog, lazy to do anything.
At least I went shopping and bought a bag and a pair of shoes.
But there are more things I want to buy but I broke.

Actually, there are a few people I like.
But I won't say who they are cos who knows they might be reading my blog...

ok... think that's about it all.

TAGCC 2007

It was a rather challenging shoot.
The main subjects were the hyperactive kids at the Caterpillar Cove.
The Caterpillare Cove is a Children's Development and Study Centre at Ngee Ann Poly.
And today witnessed their very first batch of kindergarden students graduating.
Actually, the centre caters to a wide range of children groups.
From the junior toddlers, senior toddlers, nursery, K1 and K2 children.
The graduation day was more of a musical with a meaning behind it.

The poster.

The token of appreciation (done by the graduating kids).

I'm number 1 for the first time

Wow... For the first time in my whole entire education life, i'm number one on the exam register. Yup i got seat number 1 for my solid state physics module. No kidding. Was shocked to see that on the online seat assignment. Shall go check that module's sitting order. It has never happened before cos my surname is Heng so there's no way i can be first no the register unless there's really no one with other surnames that are before mine. I'm blogging from my hp. :)

Sony Ericsson vs O2

I'm gonna change mobile plan this thurs.
And maybe getting a new phone.
But I'm stuck in between deciding the following 2 phones:

Sony Ericsson K850i:

Or

O2 Zinc:

Of course the Sony Ericsson phone would be a better choice in terms of price as compared to O2.
But I'm quite enjoying the use of Pocket PC and O2 Zinc has built in WIFI which means that I can surf net in school when I'm carrying my laptop around.

How are how?
Which would you choose?

More Peel Fresh...

More Peel Fresh?
Since when did I mention anything about Peel Fresh in my blog???
Hahaha...
My Geometry Lecturer bought us Peel Fresh mango juice for tutorial just bcos he happened to be thirsty.
The first time was sometime before the term break (iirc) when he got his mentorship award.
And all the tutorial classes had one Peel Fresh for each student.
But this time was different.
Only my class had Peel Fresh.
YAY!!!
He actually told us when he came back that he cleared all the mango juice there was in the drink stall.
hahaha.
The previous time he also cleared the orange juice.

Pardon with the oof pictures cos I was taking them with my O2 phone in front of him. (I was sitting on the first row with my friends.)

3 cheers for Roger Poh...
He's one of the best lecturers so far.

VBA: Lesson 1

VBA stands for Visual Basic Advance Application.
It's a program found in Microsoft Office to command the program to run formulas and other stuff.
Why did i learn it?
Because I need to use it for my project in Basic Financial Maths.
It's actually a rather simple programming language and it's easy to understand.
But programming it to become a running program to do what you need to do is not that simple as the theory seems to be.

Lesson 1:
Never name your module the same title as your function name.
Why?
Because when you tell the program to run, it doesn't know if it's suppose to run the module or the function.
The program gets confused.
Well...
This was what I did and together with my friend, we spent the half a day trying to debug the problem.
And I finally knew the problem just a while ago.

Let's Have Fun with Photo Booth

Got tired studying...
So played with Derek's new refurbished Mac Book Pro.
Explored Photo Booth...
We had a great laught playing with the different settings.

I kenna punched???

Funny eyes...
Hahaha.

Derek looks like he got sucked into my brain.

OK...
I'm tempted too to get a Mac.
But currently got no money to get one.
Who want to sponsor me????

I miss him...

It's not just me who misses him.
My eyes are dying to see him.
My heart is craving for him.
My brain is constantly thinking of him.
My mouth has got lots to tell him.

I think of him because I care.
Staying so far away from school is not easy for uni life.
And he's always reaching home so late at night.
I know he's busy with 2 projects in hand for this semester.
We hardly talk to each other this sem.
We hardly get to see each other.

The feeling is going away.
I finally start to get back the neutral friendship feeling.

But every now and then I tear for no reason.
I can even tear when listening to songs.

So many things I have him mind for him.
My mind constantly remind and reframe me from doing them.
Cos they tell me that I'm just wasting time, effort and even money.
So what I did it,
He'll just say a simple thank you to me and that's all.
Boys are really boys.
Dun expect a return from them.

Do you understand how much I care for you????
